Weddings for August 2006

Dan and Barb Schreiner of Spencerport are pleased to announce the engagement of their son Jim to Jenna Dandrea, daughter of Dan and Wendy Dandrea, also of Spencerport.

Jim graduated from Spencerport High School in 2002 and from Clarkson University with a degree in mechanical engineering in May 2006.

Jenna graduated from Spencerport High School in 2003 and graduated from SUNY Potsdam with a degree in psychology in May 2006.

They are now residing in Erie, Pennsylvania where Jim is working for General Electric. Jenna will be attending Edinboro in the fall.

Their wedding is planned for June 9, 2007.

Virginia L. Mounce and Aaron G. Kemp were married July 15, 2006 at Christ Community Church of the Nazarene, Olathe, Kansas.

The bride is the daughter of Jerry and Carolyn Mounce of Olathe, Kansas. The groom is the son of Gary and Phyllis Kemp of Gardner, Kansas, formerly of Spencerport.

The maid of honor was Donna Bianchina. Bridesmaids were Kelli Mounce and Aimee Kincaid. Sydnee Mounce acted as junior bridesmaid and Kennedy and Emery Mounce were the flower girls.

The best man was Kris Kincaid. Serving as groomsmen were Jeff Davis, Jon Yost and Jon Mounce. Nathan Kincaid acted as ring bearer.

Virginia is employed by Transamerica Life Insurance. Aaron, a graduate of Mount Vernon Nazarene University with a bachelor of arts degree in Christian education, is employed by Sprint.

Andrea L. Russell and Lance Corporal Paul Scanga were united in marriage July 1, 2006 in Franklin, Indiana.

The bride is the daughter of Jeff and Kathy Russell of Jacksonville, North Carolina, formerly of Spencerport. The groom is the son of Debbie Abel and Brian Scanga, both of Franklin, Indiana.

Andrea is attending Coastal Carolina Community College and is employed by Applebee's in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Paul is serving in the United States Marine Corps, deployed to Iraq.

Dan and Laurie Gleason of Albion are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Danielle to Tim Labinski. Tim is the son of Paul and Cheryl Labinski Sr. of Hamburg.

Danielle is a 1995 graduate of Holley High School and Tim is a 1993 graduate of Frontier High School.

Jennifer Hunt of Churchville is engaged to be married to David Andreas of Long Island.

Jennifer is the daughter of Lynn Hunt (James Lasken) of Churchville and the late John F. Hunt. David is the son of William and Joan Andreas of Aquebogue, New York.

Tim and Peggy Donlon of Hilton proudly announce the engagement of their daughter Jayme L. to Matthew L. Kehoe, son of George and Kathy Kehoe of Hamlin.

Jayme is a 2000 graduate of Coronado High School, San Diego, California and a 2005 graduate of the Isabella Graham Hart School of Practical Nursing. She is employed as a nurse at Ridgewood Med Peds.

Matthew is a 2000 graduate of Hilton Central High School and a 2004 graduate of Hobart College with a bachelor of science degree in mathematics. He is pursuing his master's degree in education at SUNY Brockport.

Dan and Sue Mason Hickey of Spencerport are thrilled to announce the engagement of their son Ryan D. to Christin A. Gannon, daughter of Kevin and Ellen Gannon of Spring Lake, New Jersey.

Ryan is a 2005 summa cum laude graduate of Syracuse University with a dual degree in history and social studies education. He will graduate in 2006 from the master's program at Syracuse's Maxwell School of Public Administration. Ryan was a 4-year letter winner and captain of the SU Soccer Team and is the Assistant Men's Soccer Coach. He is a 2000 graduate of Spencerport High School.

Christin is a 2006 graduate of James Madison University with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse at Jersey Shore Hospital, New Jersey. She is a 2001 graduate of New Jersey's Manasquan High School. She was a 2-year letter winner on the JMU Swim Team.

Dr. Gavin Hickey and Raime Ruffner were married June 17, 2006 at St. Jame's Church, in Alexandria, Pennsylvania.

The bride is the daughter of Barry and Mary Kay Ruffner of Alexandria, Pennsylvania. Parents of the groom are Dan and Sue Hickey of Spencerport.

Gabrielle Tamborino was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Danielle Ludwick, Holly Hancharik, Amy Zampi and Summer Cullen. Kennedy Grejak was the flower girl.

Ryan Hickey was best man. J.V. Soldi, Brian Huss, Nick Boetcher, Kevin Thornton, Dr. Jeff Zampi, Dr. Ceasar Lou and Dr. Ronnie Bassert served as groomsmen. Ty Mason was the ring bearer.

The bride received her teaching degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2003 and is an elementary school educator at Greensburg Salem School District.

The groom received his MD from the University of Rochester School of Medicine in 2006 and is employed at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is a 2002 graduate of the University of Rochester and a 1998 graduate of Spencerport High School.

Frederick and Rosanne Holbrook of Spencerport are pleased to announce the engagement of their son Michael F. to Frances S. Roberto, daughter of Andrew and Marilyn Roberto of Naperville, Illinois.

Mike is a 1985 graduate of Spencerport High School and received his bachelor of arts degree from the University of Dayton in 1989. He is the managing editor at Pro Football Weekly magazine.

Fran is an occupational therapist in special education. She is a 1988 graduate of the University of Illinois-Chicago and received a master's degree from the University of Indianapolis.

Steve and Kathy Muller of Hilton are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Dawn M. to John R. Starwald. John is the son of Richard Starwald of Hilton and Janet Roethel Starwald of Hamlin.

Dawn, a graduate of Hilton High School and the University of Buffalo, is employed by Eastman Kodak Company.

John, also a graduate of Hilton High School, attended SUNY Brockport and is employed by Alliance Precision Plastics.

Jessica A. Sutherland and Scott J. Ellsworth were married May 6, 2006 at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Rochester.

The bride is the daughter of David and Elaine Sutherland of Ontario. The groom is the son of Carol Ellsworth of Irondequoit and Erich "Rick" Ellsworth of Hamlin.

The matron of honor was Patricia Cooper. Bridesmaids included Rebecca Stewart, Lisa Ellsworth and Katie Vogel. Hanna Clark was the flower girl.

The best man was Dustin Logan. Specialist Jacob Sutherland, Sgt. Adam Ellsworth and Christopher Vacca served as groomsmen. Brian Lilholt acted as ring bearer.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Bishop Kearney High School and a 2002 graduate of State University of New York at Geneseo, where she earned a degree in special education. She is employed as a senior therapist at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders in Fairport and is completing her master's degree in literacy education at St. John Fisher College.

The groom is a 2000 graduate of Bishop Kearney High School and a 2004 graduate of Clarkson University, where he earned a degree in marketing. In 2005 he completed his master's in business administration at the Bittner School of Business at St. John Fisher College. He is a marketing analyst with Xerox Corporation, Rochester.

Both Scott and Jessica volunteer at their high school alma mater, Bishop Kearney, working as assistants for the Speech and Debate team, the club where the two originally met.

The couple honeymooned in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland. They reside in Webster.

Fred and Rozanne Klycek of Byron proudly announce the engagement of their daughter Joy to Jason Volkmuth, son of John and Mary Lou Volkmuth of Spencerport.

Joy is a 2000 graduate of Byron-Bergen High School. She received her bachelor's degree in elementary and special education from St. Bonaventure University and her master's degree in literacy education from Nazareth College. Joy is a teacher in the Victor Central School District.

Jason is a 1999 graduate of Aquinas Institute. He received his bachelor's degree in physical education from St. Bonaventure University. Jason is a sales representative for Regional Distributors.

Announcement has been made of the engagement of Dr. Rebekah Tanner of Williamsport, Pennsylvania and Eric Anstadt of Muncy, Pennsylvania.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mary and Amos Tanner of Spencerport. She graduated from Spencerport High School in 1994. She received a bachelor's degree in biology from Houghton College in 1998 and a medical degree from Ben Gurion University, Beer Sheva, Israel. She is employed by Susquehanna Health System as a family practice doctor.

The future groom is the son of Marilyn and Lewis Anstadt of Muncy, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Hughesville High School in 1995 and is pursuing a degree at Pennsylvania College of Technology. He is employed by Schwan's Sales as a customer service specialist.
